Past Meeting Report

The Northern California Manx met on a Sunday afternoon in mid-March (post-Ides). Spring was in the air and we were at the hacienda of Kim Parker and Peter Herrera in Milpitas, up against the green foothills of Silicon Valley. It had been too long since last we met (Traa dy-liooar), but we made up for it with lively conversation and general camaraderie. Of special note was the presence of Peter Karran, a cousin of our hostess. Peter had come to California to attend a professional conference. He managed to add a few days so that he could have a family visit.

Not much for having organized meetings with agendas, still we took time to talk about the upcoming NAMA Convention '08 in Minnesota. The extra special welcome for young people was well received, so we hope to have a better attendance than usual from our area.

Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held sometime during the holidays (details later).
